Description: Lumiere Charity is an inclusive sensory play and support hub for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and their families. Founded in February 2024, Lumiere opened the first-of-its-kind soft play sensory centre in April 2025 created to meet a growing need for safe, accessible and understanding environments. Born from lived experience, Lumiere was created to provide a space where children can feel safe, understood and free to be themselves without judgement or expectation. We offer sensory play, immersive walls and community support that help reduce isolation, support emotional regulation and improve wellbeing. Lumiere is more than a centre. It is a community a place where families feel seen, supported and never alone, where connections are built, experiences are shared and every child is valued.
